Let's imagine, for illustration purposes, that you are considering two CBD oils, one 30 ml bottle contains 500 mg CBD and the other 30 ml contains 3000 mg CBD. Although the high strength oil may initially cost more, it has six times the amount of CBD in each bottle compared to the lesser potency oil.
A high potency oil will therefore include more CBD in each serving (1ml serving), perhaps increasing its efficacy in treating symptoms, and offer a better deal in terms of price per milligram of CBD.
Furthermore, when we contrast the same two CBD oils, the low potency oil contains only 16.7mg of CBD per serving, while the high potency oil contains 100mg of CBD per serving. Which means... if you start a CBD regime at say, 60mg of CBD per day, it will require 3.5 servings from the 500mg bottle vs only 0.5 servings from the 3000mg bottle.
The 500mg bottle would be depleted in 8 days vs a full 60 days with the 3000mg bottle... Eight days will not be sufficient for most individuals to FULLY experience the benefits of CBD, unless they buy 6 bottles.
NOTE: Make sure to identify the amount of oil in each bottle. Some brands offer 6,000mg or more of CBD in a bottle. However, some are packaged in 60ml bottles vs 30ml bottles, meaning its really 3000mg per 30ml.
NOTE: A 2018 review on the safety and tolerance of CBD revealed that individuals continued to tolerate CBD at increasing dosages between 1,500 and 6,000 mg. This is the same as taking a whole bottle of high-potency CBD every day. A tiny number of people reported experiencing adverse symptoms such diarrhea, sleepiness, headaches, and nausea, although these were often moderate and acceptable.
