CBDfx manufactures its products in a cGMP facility (certified Good Manufacturing Practices), which means they follow a set of strict regulations and guidelines enforced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ensure that their products are safe, pure, and effective. !

Based on the information we found throughout the internet and on their own website, CBDfx is using only organic hemp grown in the rich fields of Kentucky for all of its CBD products.

It does not appear that the company is using USDA Certified Hemp. However, CBD Brand Review does not penalize a brand for non-USDA certified hemp at this time (see note below)

CBDfx is a true "Seed to Consumer" brand. Having complete control of the entire process help to assure quality and constant product every time.

NOTE: Currently we do not penalize any brand for using non-certified organic hemp as the backlog for USDA certification is long and expensive. Most CBD brands grow or purchase hemp in the United States where the farming practices follow the very same stringent procedures as "Certified Organic USDA hemp"

CBDfx employs CO2 extraction, recognized by most as the standard for CBD extraction.

Though more expensive, CO2 extraction is one of the safest, most efficient methods of extracting CBD from the hemp plant, which ensures the potency and purity of a product.

CO2 extraction is used by the best CBD brands, when quality and volume is critical. The top 10 CBD brands all use CO2 extraction!

CBDfx employs third-party testing or Certificates of Analysis (COAs) of all its products, which are easily accessible through the footer menus of its website.

We found their COAs to be detailed, current and packed with information, exactly what we hope to find in a quality Certificate of Analysis (COA)!

We are a bit surprised that CBDfx has chosen to leave out terpene testing from most of their COAs. (we did find terpene testing within their vape juices)

Several of CBDfx competitors perform terpene testing. Its an important piece of data for some, and will only become more important as time goes on.

All of the criteria we use to rate a brand was easily found within the CBDfx website as well as multiple sites throughout the web. We noticed that CBDfx claims to be BBB accredited. However, according to the Better Business Bureau, the company is not BBB Accredited and actually had an F rating.

After further investigation, the F rating had much to do with an earlier issue stemming from CBDfx making certain health claims when using CBD.

As far as we can see, the company has rectified its statements. However, the BBB has not re-issued a newer class rating as of this 2023 review. THIRD PARTY TESTING:
